![]() It turned out that once the bug was resolved I was a year past the game and while I've been trying to get back in a little it's just not worth it with Valhalla being the superior experience. I know I got stuck in a trap where I rerolled the game for mastery points, waiting on a bug to be resolved so I could enter the final expansion. What if they like us to hold that thought until their final expansion has been finalised and released? What if it's up in the air exactly *how* the endgame should look like? That could be a good reason not to allow this. Valhalla's better for that, it would be a greater experience than Odyssey just enabling us to go through the game again plainly and collect the mastery through the leveling. But did they actually do that with Odyssey? Was visiting shrines *really* the gameplay we were looking for? Was Odyssey map truly that wealthy on experience and events and were you truly awed every time you ran like a mad dog through those shrines, torch at the ready? I don't think so. But they like to offer something extra, it needs to be that amazing continuance they can't really provide. Would be perfect in my opinion, don't see the design issue. I just want the gear readied, then I can select my own progression if I like because the skill tree is made like that. ![]() I'd like this so I could run everything with my chosen setup, whatever that would be. Probably can fit in ten if you don't really go everywhere and all that. Seems like enough for four or five ng+ runs, at least. Why not leave the mastery system as is? You got 999 mastery? That's grindsy.Īnd if you do have 999 of your chosen mastery, why not get a new branch then? 2x999 more mastery to collect. I've replayed Odyssey many times with NG+, continuing to rack up skill points, and making Kassandra more and more the demigod that she is. I think it's really strange that a game director would state they don't know HOW to add NG+ when it should have already been part of the plan from day one and figured in the planning process. However, coming to the end, this is a great time for Valhalla to add a new 'master level' points system to the game as well. In Valhalla currently, you'll eventually reach a point where you don't have anything to add points to. Odyssey added MASTER LEVEL point system, so each time you played NG+ you always had places to add skill points. ![]() However, Valhalla does have a major problem that Odyssey didn't have. no more hunting down the gear and I could enjoy the game more that way. That's what I liked about AC Odyssey NG+. It's to avoid all the grind and start out immediately with all your hard-earned gear and simply replay the story without all the excessive grind. Perhaps he doesn't understand exactly WHY players play NG+. Well, AC Odyssey did it without a problem. I know the post-content creator stated that he basically, 'didn't know how to add NG+ to Valhalla and make it meaningful'.
